Lips – Augmenting and Shaping

Hyaluronic Acid is a revolutionary product for aesthetic surgery.  It is injected subcutaneously with a very fine needle, giving an immediate effect.  It’s a simple alternative to surgery.

Hyaluronic Acid looks like a soft filling which smoothly adapts under the skin in the zone where it is injected.  Immediately after injecting the hyaluronic acid, the doctor can shape the zone to get the desired form.

Hyaluronic Acid has been proven to be a safe and effective product.

There will be many applications for this product in the future.  For the moment, it is used for facial corrections, such as:

  • Filling the lips
  • More beautiful cheeks
  • More pronounced chin or to eliminate a dimple
  • To smooth the nasolabial line (the line which goes from the nose to the top of the lips
  • To smooth out wrinkles around the mouth
  • To smooth out the furrows between the eyebrows
  • To smooth out deep wrinkles, scars, and marks from acne
  • Other skin corrections

Benefits

The result of a filling could be fuller lips, more beautiful and prominent cheeks, or the disappearance of a wrinkle from around the mouth.

You can make your dream come true of correcting a small nose, having fuller lips or removing an unpleasant scar.

These corrections don’t disappear, aren’t uncomfortable, don’t require surgery, don’t require recovery time, and fillings last a long time.

Not long ago this was a dream, now it is a reality.

Duration of the Treatment

Aesthetic corrections (filling of the lips, wrinkles,…) done with Hyaluronic Acid don’t require hospitalization or general anesthesia.  In some cases the doctor could use local anesthesia, but normally it isn’t necessary.  For this type of procedure a very fine needle is used, so the discomfort is minimal.

In the first moment, the zone receiving treatment may be slightly sensitive and swollen, but this usually disappears in one or two days.

Patients can return to work immediately, but it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight for two or three weeks.
