MicropigmentationMicropigmentation is an aesthetic specialty with the objective of correcting, modifying, beautifying, and semi-permanently shaping specific facial features (lips, eyebrows, eyelids…) or corporal (scalp, areolas…) by implanting pigments in the level of the skin. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST? Depending on the type of skin, technique, location, and pigments, the result can last around 18 months. It is advisable to have at least one revision after 12 months in order to evaluate the state of the micropigmentation. IS SOME SPECIAL MAINTENANCE NECESSARY? No, micropigmentation doesn’t require any special maintenance, nothing we don’t already do regularly.
HOW IS IT ELIMINATED FROM THE BODY? Our own immune system is in charge of eliminating pigment particles. This elimination isn’t uniform in area or in color. If a patient doesn’t want to do the treatment again, the color will slowly fade until it is completely eliminated. This could take between 2 and 5 years. In the case that the pigments needed to be eliminated drastically, it is only possible with special types of lasers. For more information, get in contact with us. |
